Fees and Late Fees
Last updated: 27 October 2026
We've written this in plain language. If anything is unclear, write to info@accquan.net.
We want you to know exactly what you pay and why. Every amount is shown before you pay.
| What | How much | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Daily saving | Set for each Annual Njangi (for example 500 FCFA) | Your personal savings |
| Daily fee | Set for each Annual Njangi (for example 25 FCFA a day on a 500 FCFA Njangi) | Payment costs and running Accquan |
| Late fee | Set for each Annual Njangi (for example 50 FCFA for each missed day) | The Accquan community fund |
| Creating an account or asking to join | Free | Not applicable |
- Example: on Annual Njangi 500, one day costs 525 FCFA (500 saved + 25 fee). Thirty days paid at once cost 15,750 FCFA (15,000 saved + 750 in fees). A missed day paid later costs 575 FCFA (500 + 25 + 50).
- A missed day that is never paid: its late fee is taken from your savings at the end of the year.
- The daily fee and late fees are never part of your savings and are not returned.
- Your mobile money provider may charge its own fees. We will show any such charge before you pay.
- The amounts of an Annual Njangi never change after its first member is approved.
